If you’re reading this article you might hear millions of times that “Content is king”. This is actually true most often.
But what if… your audience, subject, or readers don’t pay attention to it?
What if they see your content and just skip?
What if they just check it and feels unnecessary or irrelevant for them?
Does the statement stand strong in all those scenarios?
Maybe. Maybe not. I don’t’ know.
But if it’s true, then anyone can create whatever they feel right.
And get the customers on demand.
Sell as much as they can.
And grow business almost overnight.
…But the reality is people are smarter than before.
And the big challenge here, most are just suffering from ADD. Which is the acronym of “Attention Deficit Disorder”.
It causes not to properly pay attention to the selective elements. I find myself sometimes this way too.
Have you ever find yourself in a situation while watching YouTube videos of Scrolling Facebook timeline? You just watching one thing, before it finishes, you go to another topic or video. After sometimes later you recognize the time you spend, did nothing, or watched nothing,
It’s not your fault.
Too many ads and versatile content on the web attract our brain without any permission.
It just looking for one thing after another to please the dopamine.
So it’s genuinely tough to focus on the internet world. Similarly tough to get audience attention, keep them engaged, and finally get the action from your content.
But if you create content for your online business or marketing campaign without researching or caring what your audience, needs, wants, and wishes are… Then you’re just worshiping the wrong god with full of hope. Why?
Because, as Gary Bencivenga one of the copywriting and marketing geniuses said…”Advertising is not getting the award, win applause, or entertain your customers. It’s selling products to transform business”.
That directly represents whatever content you do create for your marketing campaign. It should be mostly purposeful to get the desired result.
Without it everything is just unnecessary, irrelevant, junkies. How? Think for a moment… You’re providing a “Digital Marketing” service for online business. And while you create content your focus is mostly on the Special Days, Target Festivals, and Trendy Topics to connect with the audience. Rather than what they actually want.
When I research my client project, it’s almost often I see businesses are completely busy with irrelevant content. That has actual zero value to the audience’s mind. It’s doesn’t help the audience. It doesn’t give them what they want and just wastes their valuable time. Which is absolutely curse anyway.
But if you become aware and deeply think about it. You’d easily recognize content is king only when it is designed for the specific group of people to “solve their problem” or “make their life better than before”.
It’s king only when it makes the audience engage in it.
It’s king when the audience finds the potential value to buy your product or service.
Which obviously can be video, audio, or print like this one.
But it has to be the value for them. And the more you do it. The more your audience, subject, prospect, or client connect with your business. Connect with your message and content without resistance.
As a result, you’d naturally able to grow your brand and sell your product to amplify the bottom-line profit.
